Horatius Capital Partners processes your personal data because you use our services and/or provide these to us. The personal data we process include:

For this purpose, Horatius Capital Partners has appointed InteGreat NV, a specialised software company in Waregem (Belgium). The technologies provided by InteGreat NV and used by HCP include Microsoft 365, Outlook (Exchange Online), and SharePoint.

Statistics

When you browse our website, we store specific data about you in statistics (Google Analytics). These data include the browser type, IP address, operating system you use, and the website's domain name that referred you to our website. We use these statistics to analyse the browsing behaviour of our visitors and optimise our website accordingly for our users. The statistics are anonymous.

Additionally, we collect specific data when you subscribe to our newsletter. Specifically, this includes information about the browser type, unique identification, and the number of times a link in our newsletter is clicked. We use this data to improve our newsletter or to analyse any issues.

For what purpose do we process your personal data:

• If you fill out the contact form on our website, we retain the data you enter. We securely store your first name, last name, phone number, email address, message, IP address, and the time of sending. This is necessary to communicate with you correctly. By clicking the "send" button, you give us permission to process and store the data entered in the input window.

• When you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your first name, last name, and email address. We need this information to send you the newsletter. The newsletter is sent four times a year. Your email address is securely stored with Mailchimp. Mailchimp is an email marketing platform that does not buy, sell, or manage email lists for individuals or legal entities. It stores and processes your content in accordance with the current security standards in the industry. You can unsubscribe from receiving newsletters from Horatius Capital Partners at any time.

• We analyse your behaviour on the website to improve the website and tailor the offering of services and products to your preferences.
  

Sharing personal data with third parties

We use your data within the Horatius Capital Partners group and only provide it to third parties in the context of executing an agreement or to comply with regulations.

How long do we keep your data?

Horatius Capital Partners does not retain your personal data longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods per category:

• Personal data of shareholders/customers: continuously and five years after withdrawal or termination so that information can still be provided in the context of, for example, tax returns.

• Personal data of interested parties: until the end of the month three years after sending the contact form.

• Personal data of newsletter subscribers will be retained until the end of the month, for a period of five years after unsubscribing from the newsletter, unless we are obligated to retain your personal data for a longer period due to legal requirements, regulations, or specific liability reasons, such as in the context of a potential dispute.
  

What rights do you have?

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data.

We endeavour to process all requests as soon as possible and aim to respond within three weeks of receiving your written request or inquiry.

• Right of access and rectification: you have the right to inspect all personal data we collect from you. You can have any incorrect or incomplete data changed or deleted. However, we request that you include a copy of your identity card with your request to ensure that you made the access request. This is to protect your privacy.

• Right to be forgotten: you always have the right to have your data deleted from our databases.

• Right to lodge a complaint: if you believe that we have unlawfully processed your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
